Kieran, who is both our first donor and guide in the creation of the Wild Rock ComPassion Project, describes philanthropy as "not simply the donation of money, although that is critically important.  Philanthropy is more about committing some part of you to helping others.  If you have money, then give money. If you have time, then give time.  If what you have to offer is emotional energy, experience, understanding or skills then give those!"  We believe that one does not need to be wealthy in order to be giving in some way and that the act of giving helps both the person who gives and the receiver of that gift.
